The Role of Secondary School Principals of the First Zarqa Educational Directorate in Developing the Creative Energies of Teachers

Abstract:

This study aims to reveal the role of secondary school principals of the First Zarqa Educational Directorate in developing the creative energies of teachers from the point of view of public school teachers, and the impact of the variables of gender, experience, and educational qualification on the estimates of the study sample. The descriptive survey method is used, and a questionnaire was prepared to include items for developing creative energies distributed over five areas: fluency, flexibility, originality, risk, and sensitivity to problems, and it consisted of the study population, which amounted to (387) principals, and the study sample of (199) male and female teachers, who were chosen in a simple random way. The results of the study indicate that the role of secondary school principals in the First Zarqa Educational Directorate in developing the creative energies of teachers from the teachers' point of view was high, and the results also show that there were no statistically significant differences in the estimates of the study sample about the role of secondary school principals in the First Zarqa Educational Directorate in developing the creative energies of teachers from the teachers' point of view due to the variables of gender, experience, and scientific qualification. In light of the results, the study set several recommendations, including: Encourage school principals in the First Zarqa Educational Directorate to pay attention to teachers' risk-taking skills.
