The Impact of Strategic Thinking on Organizational Excellance: The Mediating Role of Strategic Foresight in the Winner Organizations of King Abdullah II Prize for Excellence for the Private Sector in Jordan
Abstract:
This study aims to identify the impact of strategic thinking on organizational excellence through the mediating role of strategic foresight. For both researchers are fully aware of the importance of private sector organizations in Jordan, the study was applied to the organizations winning the King Abdullah II Prize for Excellence for the Private Sector. 19 of the large and medium-sized companies from service and industrial sectors were selected for the last five sessions from 2008 to 2017. The questionnaire is used as a tool to collect data by investigating the opinions of a sample of (190) employees. (173) questionnaires were collected.
The results of the study revealed a statistically significant impact at the level of significance (α≤0.05) of strategic thinking on organizational excellence and the presence of a statistically significant impact at the level of significance α≤ 0.05) of strategic thinking on organizational excellence in the presence of strategic foresight.
The study recommended the following: leaders and individuals should continue adopting strategic thinking in order to sustain organizational excellence, and achieve higher levels of excellence. As well as enhancing the foresight capabilities and mechanisms of strategic foresight for the future.
