The Secondary School Science Teachers Perceived Learning and Innovation Skills and their Impact on Graduate Attributes

Abstract:

This study aims at detecting the secondary school science teachers perceived learning and innovation skills and their impact on graduate attributes. A questionnaire consisting of (60) items was used to determine their effectiveness on enhancing the graduate Attributes as Perceived by science teachers. A sample of (154) science teachers from Bani-Obaid and AL-Qasaba Directorates of Education were selected purposefully. The results of the study show that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) for learning and innovation skills in enhancing graduate attributes in favor of cooperation and group work, followed by the field of communication, followed by the field of creativity and innovation, and finally the field of critical thinking and problem solving. While the study did not show the presence of statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) in the fields of the study scale due to the study variables (gender, specialization, and years of experience) at the level of significance (α = 0.05).
