Abstract:
This study aims to uncover the linguistic formation techniques of the poet Tamim al-Barghouti in his poem "In Jerusalem" within three main axes: the first one is the title sentence of the poem, then the verb, and its implications in the poem within four levels: the beginning of the poem, the shift in discourse, the action verb of vision, the sequence of verbs, and the semantic fields of verbs in the poetic text. The third axis studies the linguistic methods and their impact on the poem structure within seven aspects, which are represented as follows: the condition, the interrogation, the repetition method, anastrophe, deletion, the engrossment, the encompassing, and the comprehensiveness, and the sentence of cause and effect in the poem.

Keywords: Al-Barghouthi, Diacritics, Title, the Verb, Styles.
