Abstract:
The study aims to evaluate physics book for the eleventh grade (scientific) from the viewpoint of teachers. To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach and developed a special questionnaire that consists of (73) items applied to a simple random sample consisting of (22) teachers and a percentage of 35% of the teachers' community. The results reveale modrate estimate of the book in general, where the teacher evaluation rate for the book was 57.5%. The order of the fifth domains of book was in descending order as follows (evaluation methods, objectives, language and general form, content, activities, and figures), and in percentages descending (61.5%, 60.9%, 58%, 55.8%, 55.6%). The results reveale that there is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (α = 0.05) for the variable of school type, gender, academic qualification, specialization, and teaching years
