Effective Leadership among Students and Its Impact on the Leadership of Student Activities at the University of Hail and Ways to Develop Them

Abstract:

The study aims to uncover the level of effective leadership among students and activate them in the leadership of student activities at the University of Hail and ways to develop them, as well as clarifying differences based on the academic disciplines of students in activating leadership with them through student activities. The study uses the descriptive analytical approach, and is applied to a component stratified sample out of (270) students from activity students at the university according to the variables of study majors, and (50) from supervisors and coordinators of activities at the university, the results indicate that there is a high level of effective leadership among students of Hail University, and that student activities play a large role in developing leadership of the above-student participants from their point of view. It also showed that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) and less in the mathematical averages of the level of the role of student activities in developing effective student leadership that can be attributed to student specialties, and the study presented a set of proposals to develop student activity at the university to develop effective leadership among students.
