Abstract :

The study aims to measure and analyzes the impact of transformational leadership on strategic agility in the Qatari transportation sector during Qatar blockade (2017-2019). The study population consisted of employees working in the upper management in the sector. The study considered the whole study population using the comprehensive survey method of the job titles (Minister, Undersecretary of the ministry, CEO, deputy CEO, department manager). The study used a descriptive-analytical method. The questionnaire was used as a tool to collect data from the study sample and it consisted of (35) items. The study concluded that there is a statistically significant impact at the level of significance (α≤0.05) of the transformational leadership and its dimensions combined with strategic agility and its dimensions (Strategic Sensitivity, Leadership Unity, and Resources fluidity) at Qatari transportation sector. The study recommends the need to enhance the level of transformational leadership in the researched organizations because of its impact on increasing the level of agility of these organizations and their response to environmental variables.
