The Role of Strategic Intelligence Practices in Developing Intellectual Capital Competencies in Qatari Public Universities

  • Abstract:
    The study aims to measure and analyze the impact of strategic Intelligence on intellectual capital at the Qatari
    public universities. The study population consists of employees working in the university upper management. The
    study considered the whole study population using the comprehensive survey method of the job titles (Chairman,
    Deputy Chairman, Dean, department manager). The study uses a descriptive-analytical method. The questionnaire
    is used as a tool to collect data from the study sample and consists of (20) items. The study concludes that there is a
    statistically significant impact at the level of significance (α≤0.05) of the strategic intelligence with its dimensions
    (foresight, future vision, and partnership) combined to develop intellectual capital at the Qatari public universities.
    The study recommends that Qatari public universities should adopt a strategic intelligence concept to benefit of its
    outputs in intellectual capital development.
