•  Abstract: The aim of the research is to uncover: the level of positive thinking, the degree of awareness of the risks of delinquency and intellectual extremism among the youth in El-Qassim region, in light of (age, socio-economic level, family status, and other variables), and the extent to which positive thinking contributes to forecasting awareness of the risks and causes of delinquency and intellectual extremism.
  The sample consists of (345) students from El-Qaseem University, a measure of awareness of the dangers of delinquency and intellectual extremism is applied to them, in addition to a measure of positive thinking, the results of the research include: There is a high level of positive thinking and the degree of awareness of the dangers of delinquency and intellectual extremism among the youth in El-Qassim region, the lack of an impact of the variable of the economic and social level of the family on the level of positive thinking, and the absence of an impact of the variable of the academic qualification on the degree of awareness of the dangers of deviation and intellectual extremism, and that all dimensions of positive thinking have important contributions to predict awareness of the dangers of delinquency and intellectual extremism.
