Abstract:
The approach of Calling to Allah includes media-related connotations which set the basis for the role of the media in today's Islamic discourse. This is clearly shown in the functions of calling and reporting to Allah by setting the unshakable evidence to people, preaching, warning, reporting, and accounting. The Prophet's approach in Calling and reporting to God Almighty clearly indicates several important media-related aspects of the contemporary Islamic discourse in media. This is plainly perceived through the sound dealing with public opinion, addressing each category with its matching, directing the speech to the group and the public, following methods of iteration and dialogue in discourse, and directing the call to people.
.Key words: Islamic media, contemporary Islamic discourse, calling and reporting to Allah.
