Abstract
This paper deals with the form ( style) of expression in standard Arabic in modern time, After liberation of this style from the artificiality of rhetoric, it still tended to imitate the literary styles of a famous old writers, Also its expressions were still old, so a lot of distinguished modern critics called for liberation of this style from imitation, and called for a modern Arabic language. Also they called for abandoning strange diction and old forms from the style. The conservative writers who tended to imitation of style resisted this call, so a violent critical conflict was between the two parts from 1920 to 1925, But this literary conflict had been ended by success of modern critics 'call. So Arabic style of expression became simplified one, and its language became modern after this era which ended in 1925.
