Effective Alternative Assesment in Students' Attitudes toward Islamic Education

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of alternative assesment on students' attitudes toward Islamic education. In order to achieve the aim of the study, the following questions were established: What is the justification for the use of alternative assesment in the Islamic education? What is the proposed model for the alternative assesment Islamic education? What is the impact of alternative assesment   on students' attitudes towards Islamic Education? To answer these questions, the researcher has extrapolated the characteristics of a target group in the curriculum of Islamic education, and reviewed the educational literature to identify the justifications for the use of alternative assesment  in their evaluation. After that, the data was presented in a suggested alternative assesment, which is a complete file of the student achievement in Islamic Education for Seventh Grade Schools in Jordan, and continued the distribution of activities and tasks throughout the first semester of the academic year 2011/2012. As well as the researcher designed a questionnaire to identify students' attitudes. Then the researcher applied the standard directions. The results showed, the existence of significant differences (0.05 ³ µ) in students' attitudes which are attributable to the alternative Assesment model. The researcher recommends the adoption of the draft Assesment model as a modern alternative trend in the evaluation of students, and design alternative models for evaluating that can be applied in different learning environments. In addition to the preparation of manuals for teachers in the mechanism of the alternative assesment application, and develop methods of evaluating teachers and support the trend towards self-evaluation.

:ملخص

هدفت هذه الدراسة التعرف إلى فعالية التقييم البديل في اتجاهات الطالبات نحو التربية الإسلامية، ولتحقيق ذلك فقد حاولت الإجابة على الأسئلة الآتية: ما مبررات استخدام التقييم البديل في التربية الإسلامية ؟ وما الأنموذج المقترح للتقييم البديل في التربية الإسلامية؟  ما أثر أنموذج التقييم البديل في اتجاهات الطلبة نحو مبحث التربية الإسلامية؟ وللإجابة عن أسئلة الدراسة فقد قامت الباحثة باستقراء خصائص الأهداف في منهاج التربية الإسلامية، ومراجعة الأدب التربوي الخاص بالتقييم البديل للتعرف إلى مبررات استخدام التقييم البديل في تقييمها، بعد ذلك تم تقديم نموذج مقترح  في التقييم البديل، وهو عبارة عن ملف إنجاز للطلبة في مبحث التربية الإسلامية للصف السابع في مدارس الأردن، استمر توزيع الأنشطة والمهام الذي تضمنها طوال الفصل الدراسي الأول للعام الدراسي 2011/2012. وكذلك قامت الباحثة ببناء استبانة  لقياس اتجاهات الطلبة نحو مبحث التربية الإسلامية ، وقد قامت بالتأكد من صدقه وثباته، وبعد الانتهاء من التطبيق قامت الباحثة بتطبيق استبانة قياس الاتجاهات، وأظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة (³ µ0.05)  في اتجاهات  الطالبات تعزى إلى أنموذج التقييم البديل، وقد أوصت الباحثة بتبني مشروع التقييم البديل كاتجاه حديث في تقييم الطلبة، وتصميم نماذج للتقييم البديل يمكن تطبيقها في بيئات التعلم المختلفة، وإعداد أدلة للمعلمين في آلية تطبيق التقييم البديل، وتطوير أساليب تقييم المعلمين. ودعم التوجهات نحو التقييم الذاتي.
