Abstract
This study aims to add more knowledge about the Ottoman rule for Trans-Jordan. It also aims at providing an in-depth and specialized study in one specific area, which is represented by the educational field in Trans-Jordan area during the latest Ottoman period (1864-1918 AD).
Several scholars and researchers addressed the history of Trans-Jordan area in the late era of the Ottoman period using a good and comprehensive historical study but these important and comprehensive serve' a general purpose, the history of Trans-Jordan in all its aspects during the Ottoman period, and most of them did not depend directly on the primary sources. The Ottoman Salnames(Year-Book) which are rich in the information that serves several studies, including the educational side.
Therefore, the importance of this study is prominent in its direct dependence on the information that was written in the Ottoman Salnames(Year-Book) about the educational aspects in the area of Trans-jordan in the latest era of the Ottoman period.
The research was followed by a conclusion that included the most important results which were drawn by the researcher from this study.
