Digital education from an Islamic perspective.

Abstract:

The study aimed to identify the features of digital education from an Islamic perspective. To achieve the aforementioned goal, the researcher adopted a descriptive and analytical approach. The study yielded a number of findings, the most notable of which were: Digital education from an Islamic perspective is defined as: preparing and qualifying individuals to advance their faith, intellectual, emotional, and practical movements through the disciplined use of digital tools and means prevalent in contemporary reality; with the goal of civilizational advancement in Islamic society. The justifications for digital education from an Islamic perspective are embodied in the widespread use of digital tools, the categorical functional extension, the comprehensive response to human activities, directed cultural interaction, the transformation of educational work into the digital arena, and digital anticipation of the professional future. The controls of digital education from an Islamic perspective are represented by the invocation of the greatness of God Almighty, adherence to normative moral values, temporal functional appreciation, the embrace of central tasks, and the compatibility of final endeavors with digital platforms. The study recommends that researchers conduct scientific studies concerned with digital education skills from an Islamic perspective.
