The psychometric properties of the Creative Thinking–Drawing ProductionTest "TCT-DP" for Preschool Children in Jordan.

Abstract:
The study aims to verify the psychometric properties of the Creative Thinking – Drawing Production Test (TCT-DP) for Preschool Children in Jordan. To achieve this goal, a test was applied to a random, cluster sample of (386) boys and girls from government and private kindergartens in grades K.G1 and K.G2. The results showed that the scores on the test have good levels of validity and reliability, The Exploratory factor analysis showed that there were two factors that explained (59.74) of the total variance for A and (59.1) for B, While the inter-rater reliability for A (0.971) and for B (0.987). The internal consistency reliability alpha (0.682) for A, and (0.628) for B. The study recommends the use of the (TCT-DP) Test to detect creativity among kindergarten children in Jordan.
