Abstract:

The study aims to identify the level of diplomatic leadership dimensions and analyze their impact on job involvement among the staff in public hospitals in Dohuk Governorate. The importance of this research lies in its examination of one of the most crucial concepts in the field of organizational behavior. Additionally, it seeks to assess the indicators that express diplomatic leadership styles among administrative leaders in public hospitals within Dohuk Governorate and the levels of job involvement among individuals

A hypothetical model has been developed to examine the role of diplomatic leadership in job involvement, with the aim of enhancing individuals' stability within the organization and ensuring high-performance levels, especially within healthcare institutions. The research employed a descriptive analytical approach, utilizing a questionnaire as the primary tool for data collection. The research sample consisted of 110 individuals from public hospitals, selected through random sampling. Statistical regression and correlation hypotheses were tested using SPSS Version 24 to analyze the relationship between study variables and the impact of diplomatic leadership on job involvement among individuals in Dohuk Governorate's public hospitals. The study found medium levels of diplomatic leadership indicators among administrative leaders and moderate levels of job involvement among individuals in public hospitals in Dohuk Governorate. Furthermore, it discovered that diplomatic leadership dimensions such as cooperation, common goals, and cultural development significantly influenced job involvement. However, two other dimensions, namely openness, communication, and clarity, did not demonstrate a significant effect on job involvement. The research recommends the promotion of behaviors that foster cooperation, the pursuit of common goals, and the development of organizational culture as strategies to enhance job involvement among individuals in public hospitals in Duhok Governorate.
