Abstract

The current study aims to identify the impact of artificial lighting on the aesthetics of artworks in art exhibitions, The study used the analytical approach by using the (3D MAX) program. The study concluded that the distribution of lighting over an area of (36 m) in the display room referred to in (Hall 2), was not sufficient in a normal situation. In fact, LED lighting was added in the middle of the ceiling in the proposed design to increase the intensity of illumination and thus increase the clarity of objects in the large areas of the exhibition. The study recommends the necessity of choosing lighting devices that have the property of showing enough color for the exhibition, whereas, as we have previously talked about, when the color distinction is through lighting (Ra=100), then the clarity in the interior space of the art exhibits is better.
