Management by wandering and its impact on professional development in Jordan from the point of view of educational supervisors

Abstract:

The study aims to identify management by wanderingand its impact on professional development in Jordan from the point of view of educational supervisors. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was developed to collect data, and the study used the descriptive analytical method. The study used the descriptive analytical method, and it was distributed to a sample of (165) individuals, with a rate of (30%), from which a total of (141) educational supervisors were returned, who were chosen by the random stratified method.The study concluded that the educational supervisors' perceptions of management by wandering were moderate, and that the level of professional development from the educational supervisors' point of view was also moderate. The study showed that there is an impact of management by wandering on the professional development of educational supervisors, and that management by wandering explains (57.5%) of the change in the professional development of educational supervisors. The study recommends that the Ministry of Education should play its role in paying attention to the practice of management by wandering in schools and promoting it, which the study results showed is related to achieving professional development for educational supervisors..
