Abstract:
The current study aims to identify the degree to which school principals in Karak Governorate apply digital leadership from their point of view. The study followed the descriptive approach, and the study population consisted of all school principals in Karak Governorate. The study sample consisted of (127) school principals in Karak Governorate, and the researcher used the questionnaire. As a tool for the study, the results showed that the degree to which school principals in Karak Governorate practiced digital leadership was high, with an arithmetic average of (3.69), while the obstacles to the practice of digital leadership by school principals in Karak Governorate were moderate, with an arithmetic average of (3.59). The study recommended the necessity of establishing A center for the formation, growth and development of academic leaders specializing in providing the necessary training for leaders in the field of digital management, increasing the participation of leaders in programs specialized in developing creative leadership skills, using technology to rationalize administrative procedures, developing decision-making support systems, and comprehensive administrative development for school principals through training on how to achieve high standards. High levels of strategic leadership thinking through developing planning skills and anticipating the future using digital technology.
