Abstract:
This study is concerned with clarifying the features of the principle of faith-based individual differences in Islamic education by following an inductive-analytical method. The study was divided into three sections, detailed as follows: First section: The concept of faith-based individual differences in Islamic education. Second section: The importance of faith-based individual differences in Islamic education. Third section: The characteristics of faith-based individual differences in Islamic education. The study revealed a number of findings, the most prominent of which include: faith-based individual differences contribute to shaping an individual's traits and values by organizing their priorities and core values, which are formed through experiences that refine and strengthen faith within the individual. This, in turn, reflects on their perceptions and understanding of different situations, guiding their appropriate responses to them. Faith-based individual differences derive their characteristics and features from the characteristics and features of Islam itself, because the relationship between faith-based individual differences and Islamic education is a close and integral one. Islam is a religion based on firm belief and pure worship of God, and it calls for noble morals, making them the foundation for interactions among members of society. It is a religion that encourages contemplation and reflection. Among the notable points regarding the importance of faith-based individual differences is their consideration of the conditions of human personality. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) himself acknowledged faith-based individual differences among his companions, as seen when he accepted Abu Bakr's offer to donate all his wealth. One of the key recommendations of the study is to encourage researchers in Islamic studies to conduct more scientific research on the principle of faith-based individual differences, highlighting its importance and characteristics, and to urge researchers in Islamic educational studies to undertake further research on the importance of considering faith-based individual differences in personality development.
