Abstract:
This Study aims at investigating the Degree of "The Degree of Public School Principals' Practice of Effective Communication Skills in Al-Muwaqqar District from Teachers' Perspectives and Its Relation to Teachers' Job Satisfaction. The study adopted descriptive correlational Methodology, the sample was selected with the type of stratified random which consisted of (463) working male and female teachers during the Academic year 2022/2023 in Almowaqqar schools. To achieve the study goals, two questionnaires were developed by the researcher one that measures effective communicative skills, the other measures Job satisfaction, the reliability and validity of those two questionnaires were tested. the results showed that the degree of practicing effective communicative skills by Almowaqqar Government Schools Principals was intermediate, the results also showed that the degree of teachers job satisfaction was intermediate, The study results also showed no statistically significant differences attributable to the variables of gender and educational qualification on the questionnaires for effective communication skills and job satisfaction. The results also showed no statistically significant differences attributable to the experience variable on the effective communication skills. However, regarding the job satisfaction questionnaire, the results indicated statistically significant differences due to the experience variable in favor of the group with more than 10 years of experience, as they showed higher job satisfaction levels. There were no statistically significant differences between the group with less than 5 years of experience and the group with 5–10 years of experience. The study recommended that school principals should utilize effective communication skills more extensively.
