• Abstract: The study aims to identify the mechanisms of the reflections of TV news and political programs on viewers. The analytical method is used. The researcher also chose a deliberate sample of (28) faculty members in the universities of Middle East, Zarqa, and Yarmouk. The study reached results that can be summarized as follows: 1- The arithmetic average of the responses of the sample members on the items of the mechanisms of preparation and presentation of the political TV programs is (3.73) which is located at the high level. 2- There are no statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample members in relation to the mechanisms for the preparation and presentation of the political programs and their implications for the audience, due to the academic rank variable. 3- There are no statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample members in relation to the mechanisms for the preparation and presentation of the political programs and their implications for the audience, due to the university variable. The study recommends accuracy and credibility by the preparation team, as well as the program provider, so that the recipients' attitudes towards these programs are positive, in addition to a set of recommendations summarized by the researcher at the end of his research.
