Abstract
This study aims at investigating the level of applying corporate social responsibility and business ethics in the context production and operation function in the Jordanian industrial companies listed in Amman Stock Exchange. In order to achieve the aim of the study, a specific questionnaire was developed and distributed to headquarter of the Jordanian industrial companies listed in Amman Stock Exchange which represents (36) company, (132) usable questionnaires were retrieved out of the (180) distributed, which shows (73.3 %) response rate. study results indicated the very high degree of corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment in the following activities: new product development, operations design, Location Strategy, Layout, Job Design, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, and Maintenance. At the end of this study, the researcher enlisted a number of recommendations and suggestions that deemed necessary to reach highest level of social responsibility and business ethics commitment.
